Many spiritual teachers will say, “Follow what you feel.” While this was valuable guidance in the past, it is not entirely correct for the Ascension we are in now. You are not to blindly follow every feeling — you are to discern them. The key is to follow only what feels right and is not rooted in fear. For example, if you feel fear and want to run away from a dog, that impulse is not divine guidance — it is fear. In Ascension, fear must be mastered, not obeyed. When you encounter a strong feeling, pause and examine it deeply: is it fear-based, or is it true divine guidance? If it is fear-based, the mastery often lies in doing the opposite — standing, observing, and transmuting that fear rather than acting from it.
In past teachings, following your feelings helped you navigate tests and remain in this reality. But now, in the Ascension timeline, the guidance is more refined. This is the time for utmost discernment and higher understanding. Not every feeling moves you forward — some keep you looping in old fear patterns. When you feel the urge to leave a place or situation, ask yourself: is this discomfort because my Soul is guiding me higher, or because fear is trying to keep me small? Mastering this distinction is an essential part of overcoming fear and moving into the higher timelines.
